Achieve greater independence and life skills in safe, fun, friendly settings. Dell technology, creative arts, and collaborative learning adapted to all ability levels. Weekdays year round.

Arc Days is one of the many programs offered by the Arc of Dallas. Arc Days shifts into “fun” mode for the Summer for youth and adults with I/DD 15 years and older.

This person-centered continuing education program empowers adults with intellectual disabilities to focus on their abilities, strive for their personal best, and achieve greater independence in a safe and respectful environment. Each Arc Days center includes Dell powered technology, site-based instruction, mentoring, therapies, leadership, and personal safety training.

Our experienced staff provides a fun, stable atmosphere where adults can learn, grow, make friends and be contributing members of society. Our curriculum adapts to all ability levels and develops skills for volunteerism or jobs.

Through our person-centered approach, we evaluate client’s communication style, need for structure, routine, boundaries, and procedures to create a path to success.

Smart boards, laptops, and touchscreen tablets help advance learning and increase communication.

The Arc partners with families and educators to provide seamless transition from school life into community activities.
Community and recreational outings occur in small groups and reinforce goal achievement.
Current Arc Days are located in Irving, Garland, and Plano. Weekdays year round, 8:30 am-2:30 pm. Extended care available.
